AgenticNot yet

No agentic channel announced; the team names complete product data as the biggest lever, also for AI agents buying in future [4]

At a glance

Founded in 2014 in Berlin, more than 300 people, revenue of 252 million euros in 2025, up 44 percent, with a clearly positive group result and positive operating cash flow [1] and a profit at EBITDA level [7]. Active in 14 countries [2] and sold at more than 15,000 points of sale [1].

What they do well

  1. The own shop is the test lab for retail. KoRo tries a product online first and uses real-time transaction data to bring proven online winners into stores [1][2]. Stores now bring in about 30 percent of revenue [3].
  2. Every channel has its own job and range. Amazon reaches new customers who buy one or two items, while the own site serves people who already know the brand, with pricing rules so marketplaces do not undercut the shop [4]. Bulk packs sell online, impulse snacks like bars sell on the shelf [6].

One thing to steal

Test a market online before you invest in it. KoRo enters new countries online first, earlier also via Amazon, to get real purchase data, then decides on retail, online only or a pause [2][4]. It closed its UK online store again when Brexit made the market too costly to serve [2].

KoRo shows the order I recommend to every brand: test in your own shop, win new customers on Amazon, and only send proven winners to the shelf. The hub owns the learning, so every channel decision starts from real purchase data.

MarketplacesLive

Amazon and Zalando, plus retail partners offline; named Amazon seller partner of the year in 2019 [1]

AgenticLive

ChatGPT brought almost 30,000 euros in 30 days, per the founder [2]; a fact page written for AI systems [1]

At a glance

Founded in 2016 as an Amazon FBA business, about 160 people, net revenue of about 110 million euros in 2025 [1]. The founder puts 2026 group revenue at 130 to 140 million euros [2].

What they do well

  1. Every channel has a job. The founder describes the own shop as the place to build the brand at break-even, while the margin comes from Amazon, Zalando and retail [2].
  2. They move early on new channels while they are cheap. A full-time growth marketer looks only for "underpriced attention" while platforms like TikTok Shop still subsidize it [2], and the founder calls TikTok Shop his most exciting growth channel [3].

One thing to steal

Publish a grounding page for AI agents. snocks.com/pages/grounding-page states verified company facts, product categories, sales channels and explicit "not us" clarifications, addressed to AI systems and human reviewers [1]. A low-cost first step to agentic readiness.

SNOCKS gives every channel a job: the own shop builds the brand, the marketplaces bring the margin, and new channels get tested early while attention is still cheap. The grounding page for AI agents is the smartest low-cost move here, and one I would copy right away.
